The black Bareback Pad Ultimate from Harry's Horse is an evolution of previous Harry's Horse bareback pads and provides a more framed seat for movement on the horse's back. The soft anti-slip material of the bareback pad surface offers the perfect basis for seat correction in equestrian sports. The special feature is that the Bareback Pad Ultimate does not stop or hinder the horse's natural movement in all gaits, but rather provides a flexible range of motion for the rider's seat.

Bareback Pad with Thigh Rolls and Padding: Safety and Optimal Seat Correction

This is made possible by narrow, soft knee rolls and a padded, extended cantle, where the padding is extended further down into the rider's leg area.

The soft, narrow, and flexible knee rolls provide the rider with guidance for the optimal position of the upper and lower leg, without disturbing or even stopping the rider's natural movement in all basic gaits. This is possible because the knee rolls are very soft and yielding. Nevertheless, they give the rider a feeling of security, e.g., during larger canter strides, but do not replace a balanced seat, which is trained with the Ultimate riding pad.

Padded Riding Pad for Better Pressure Distribution

The padding in the area of the rider's cantle is designed to absorb energetic seating and ensures better pressure distribution of the bareback pad. Here, too, the padding serves as guidance for the rider's optimal sitting position, making it easier to sit "in the horse." The padding in the gluteal area prevents the rider from sliding backward.

The girth straps of the Bareback Pad Ultimate are designed as a so-called V-girth, which distributes the pressure evenly over the entire riding pad and does not act as a point load on only a few spinous processes.

Non-slip Hold for Horses with High Withers

The underside of the Bareback Pad Ultimate is made of a non-slip anti-slip material. This ensures an optimal, stable position on the horse's back.
The anatomical back shape of the bareback pad is also suitable for ponies and horses with higher withers.

A handle at the front of the saddle serves to lift the saddle, e.g., when saddling or unsaddling. This handle is not intended as a mounting aid or for the rider to hold on to in the saddle.

Mounting for stirrups was deliberately omitted. The Bareback Pad Ultimate can only be used without stirrups, as otherwise enormous pressure peaks would occur in the area of the horse's spine and withers.
