This fly protection rug is suitable for large-area mechanical insect protection for ponies and horses in summer. The Mesh Pro Superior Neck rug is an evolution of the Mesh Pro Superior fly sheet. The color taupe is a very light beige shade that reflects light, making it suitable for hot days in the sun.

Light Fly Protection Rug as an Ideal Summer Rug for Horses

The perforated mesh material of the Mesh Pro Superior horse rug envelops your pony or horse with a good fit. The double chest closure ensures stability and prevents the rug from slipping or shifting.

The fixed neck piece with ear protection is equipped with mane protection lining in the crest area to protect the mane from rubbing. Three fasteners at the base of the neck can be individually adjusted to the appropriate neck circumference. The ear protection encloses the pony's or horse's ears and additionally secures the position at the highest point.
The chest area is additionally equipped with a thin polyester lining to prevent rubbing and chafing.

Mechanical Fly Protection & Insect Protection for Horses

Two elastic gussets provide freedom of movement for the front and hind legs during a fast or wild gallop across the pasture. The elastic gussets lie closer to the horse than open gussets and have the decisive advantage of forming a better barrier between the horse's body and insects. Flanks and belly area are harder for pests to reach.
The thoughtfully designed wide belly flap is secured with three T-closures. The belly flap covers the sensitive ventral seam and keeps insects away from this area.
The extra wide tail flap covers the dock and allows free movement and thus communication with other ponies and horses.
A tail cord stabilizes the position of the rear part of the Mesh Pro Superior fly sheet.
