Double-broken Harry's Horse loose ring snaffle made of Sweet Iron material, which naturally stimulates saliva production.
This loose ring snaffle features loose and movable smaller rings with a diameter of approximately 65 mm. Most horses respond well to this type of bit due to its position on the bars and tongue. The loose rings allow the rider's rein aids to be applied indirectly.
The double-jointed bit consists of three pieces that rest in the horse's mouth, each with a bit thickness of 14 mm. The middle piece of the bit rests on the tongue and therefore exerts more pressure on it than a single-jointed bit. It is especially important to choose the correct size with a double-jointed bit. If the bit is too large, there is a risk that the joints will touch the corners of the mouth, thus injuring the horse.
Sweet Iron forms rust on its surface upon contact with moisture. The sweet taste naturally stimulates saliva production and is more easily accepted. The horse chews more effectively and produces more foam.
