Due to its water-friendly properties, the dissolved care ingredients can be ideally absorbed into the horn, binding the moisture within it. This promotes healthy hoof horn. The horn surface is not sealed.
Conventional oils and fats, even pure bay oil, do not allow this; they seal the pores.
