The 3P Hoof Repair Kit from Keratex is a hoof repair set for reconstructing and refilling medium to large areas of the hoof horn. This allows existing structures to be supported and preserved until the horn has regrown.

After cleaning the part of the hoof to be repaired, in the first step, a primer from the double syringe is mixed according to the instructions or mixed in the mixing cup and applied to the affected areas on the hoof with the spatula.

For the second step, the largest and remaining part from the double syringe is mixed with the brown filling powder in the mixing cup. The epoxy resin paste adheres to the area to be repaired and forms a semi-permanent filler that mimics natural hoof horn. Keratex 3P Hoof Repair can be worked and rasped like a normal hoof. It hardens at low temperature within 10 to 20 minutes and can even be nailed (only for cold shoeing). The Keratex 3P Hoof Repair mixture can also be adjusted in terms of hardness and flexibility by varying the amount of filling powder.

Please note that the material hardens after 15-20 minutes. The horse should not be ridden or stressed for 12 hours after the hoof repair.
