Keratex Hoof Gel for soft horse hooves in humid environments

Keratex Hoof Gel is a simple hoof gel used on soft hooves in humid environments or during periods of rain to prevent the loss of horseshoe elasticity and resilience. Softened hooves, broken shoes, cavities, and holes in the hoof pose a major challenge in hoof care. Often, external influences that affect the horse's hooves over extended periods are the trigger for hoof problems. Only well-thought-out, long-term hoof care can prevent and improve the condition of the hooves.
Keratex Hoof Gel forms a protective, water-repellent, and breathable layer over the hoof, preventing it from softening, cracking, or breaking. It does this by preventing water from penetrating the deeper hoof structures and giving the hoof the time it needs to regenerate. This can restore hoof quality in the long term. After proper application, water droplets typically bead up and roll off the hoof.

Application :
Thoroughly clean the hoof and apply Keratex Hoof Gel to your pony or horse's dry hoof. Apply the hoof gel to the hoof, heel, frog, and sole. Repeat the application every other day for best results. Keratex Hoof Gel is absorbed into the hoof and will not peel off, even in humid conditions. Water droplets will bead up and roll off the hoof after proper application. The hoof gel should be allowed to dry before riding or turning out to pasture.

Unspecified low boiling point naphtha, <0.1% benzene (Stoddard solvent), turpentine, oil

Notes:
For external use on hooves only. Do not use ordinary hoof oils or greases with Keratex Hoof Gel. Apply the hoof gel every two days, except in dry conditions, where the hoof gel should only be applied every four days. Apply an additional layer before riding in snow or in very wet and muddy conditions.
