Like all LeMieux horse rugs, the Arika Armour-Tek fly rug series is equipped with modern technical materials and well-thought-out features that have proven their worth. The extremely lightweight fly rug Arika Armour-Tek is ideal for mechanical fly protection for the horse. Additionally, it provides 85% UV protection for the horse and is ideally suited for warm days due to its innovative micromesh. The micromesh adapts to the horse's anatomy like a second skin and provides a breathable barrier against flies and insects, while simultaneously regulating the pony or horse's temperature.

Maximum freedom of movement thanks to the patented LeMieux hem design

The LeMieux Arika Armour-Tek fly rug loosely drapes around the horse's body and is cut longer overall. This is due to LeMieux's two-part, patented rug hem design. Extensive research led to the development of this two-part hem. It reduces material tension in the chest area and allows the pony or horse to move naturally and with extensive strides in the Arika Armour-Tek fly rug. Flapping shoulder gussets, which horses can get caught on, are eliminated by this patented design, which allows for plenty of joyful movement without disturbing or restricting.

Optimal protection with belly flap and three surcingles

The extended material on the belly, called the belly flap, maximizes coverage of the sensitive belly seam of horses. Three flexible, adjustable surcingles hold the belly flap in place. The middle surcingle is detachable.

Innovative chest fastening and horse-friendly details

The innovative chest fastening with a T-bar closure of the Arika Armour-Tek fly rug is angled at 45°, preventing unnecessary rubbing and evenly distributing the resulting pressure on the chest and shoulders. For maximum freedom of movement and the greatest possible horse-friendly comfort.  An antibacterial, antistatic lining ensures a great rug fit and prevents rubbing and hair breakage.

An extra-long tail flap covers the horse's dock and provides an optimal barrier against insects. The tail cord is PVC-coated for easy cleaning.

Flexible rug management thanks to detachable neck piece

The detachable neck piece allows for optimal rug management and horse-friendly flexibility depending on the situation. The neck piece can be easily attached and detached and has a well-thought-out mane insert that protects the mane crest. Three strong hook-and-loop fasteners ensure a robust closure. Nevertheless, the neck piece loosely flatters the horse's neck.

Care instructions: The LeMieux Fly Rug Arika Armour-Tek with detachable neck piece can be washed in the washing machine at 30 degrees. Close fasteners securely before washing. Do not use bleach. Not suitable for tumble drying. Air dry, keep away from direct heat sources.
