The bright AeroGuard fly rug from the premium Kudos rug line is made of breathable Ripshield mesh from durable nylon and monofilament polyester. What's special is the stable structure of the material, which adapts optimally to the horse's body and provides a mechanical barrier against horseflies, midges, flies, and other insects. The lightweight rug is water-repellent and dries quickly, making it a popular summer rug.

Patented Kudos Design: Maximum Freedom of Movement Without Chafing

The chest fastening of the horse rug is equipped with two classic swivel snap hooks, ensuring easy handling in everyday life. The generous and loose cut of the Kudos AeroGuard fly rug justifies this deliberate choice of fastening. The chest fastening ensures a stable position of the rug and prevents it from slipping. An antibacterial, anti-static lining ensures an excellent rug fit and prevents friction and hair breakage.

Like all Kudos rugs, the fly protection rug is vertically equipped with a patented, two-part interrupted side section. The resulting high-set shoulder gusset offers optimal freedom of movement. This reduces tension and prevents friction. An elastic insert in the shoulder gusset prevents the horse rug from flapping and insects from flying between the horse and the rug.

Fly Rug with Wide Belly Flap and Three Surcingles

The extended material on the belly, known as the belly flap, maximizes coverage on the horse's sensitive belly seam. Three flexible, adjustable, straight surcingles hold the long and wide belly flap in position. The middle surcingle is removable. This design provides thoughtful mechanical fly protection for ponies and horses during grazing.

Flexible Rug Management: Detachable Neck Piece and Long Tail Flap

An extra long tail flap covers the horse's tail root and provides an optimal barrier against insects. The tail cord is PVC coated for easy cleaning.
The detachable neck piece allows for optimal rug management and horse-friendly flexibility depending on the situation. The neck piece is easy to attach and detach and has a thoughtfully designed mane insert that protects the mane crest. Three strong hook-and-loop fasteners ensure a robust closure. Nevertheless, the neck piece gently envelops the horse's neck.
