SD Design developed and designed this anatomical headpiece after more than a year of intensive adaptations to a wide variety of ponies and horses. The goal was always to meet the high demands of the horse's anatomy and to find a functional, attractive design. This was more than successful!
With the SD Design Anatomic headpiece with memory padding, you can customize your own SD Design bridle to suit your pony or horse's needs. Standard bridles often don't fit, requiring additional bridle parts. Older headpieces can be replaced, allowing you to spruce up your existing bridle and give it a completely new look.
The newly developed, soft, and highly sophisticated headpiece features an anatomically shaped cut to meet the needs of your pony or horse. The generous ear cutout allows for free, natural movement, preventing unnecessary chafing and pressure in the sensitive ear area.
The soft headpiece is centered at the highest pressure point on the horse's head, with a larger contact surface in the area of the sensitive neck muscles and the atlas, the horse's first cervical vertebra. This ensures pressure equalization and relieves pressure on sensitive areas and nerves. The headpiece is approximately 6 cm wide in the center (for warmblood sizes).
The padding of the headpiece is particularly soft thanks to the memory material. The memory pad adapts perfectly to the anatomically shaped contact surface of the horse's neck thanks to the horse's body heat. This allows the Anatomic headpiece to blend seamlessly with the neck of your pony or horse. This provides your pony or horse with more horse-friendly comfort and freedom of movement.
