The brown headpiece for round-stitched bridles and curb bits from SD Design is astonishing and highly functional. This headpiece is part of SD Design's new bridle system, which is setting new standards in equestrian sports. With this headpiece, you can create your own round-stitched bridle or curb bit from SD Design, tailored to the individual needs of your pony or horse.
Often, standard bridles don't fit, and additional bridle parts must be purchased. Old headpieces can be replaced, and you can jazz up your old bridle, giving it a completely new look. Dressage riders, in particular, rarely have access to round-stitched bridle parts in various sizes. That's over now!
The newly developed headpiece is double-padded and contoured to the anatomy of your pony or horse. The padding is very soft and adapts to your horse's neck area without discomfort. The larger 4.5 cm wide contact area ensures optimal pressure distribution across the contact surface. This ensures pressure equalization and relieves pressure on sensitive areas and nerves. For more freedom of movement and readiness for your pony or horse. The new and additional embedding of the straps and fasteners in the neck area prevents the neck pad from slipping under the straps being fastened. Additional Velcro fasteners secure the position of the noseband straps and cheek pieces.
With this headpiece, the throatlatch is no longer routed over the headpiece, which not only results in a cleaner look but also reduces the number of straps on the headpiece. The throatlatch straps are firmly sewn to the bridle. The throatlatch is adjustable from two sides, making it easier to replace.
This headpiece can be used for bridles and curb bits, especially older SD Design models.
The headpiece is made of environmentally friendly leather (eco-leather), which means that no chemicals were used in its production.
Please note: Browband, cheekpieces, and noseband are not included! These can be purchased separately.
ePony Tip: Once you've had this headpiece, you won't want to be without it. It's the basis for assembling a round-stitched bridle or curb bit, which is placed over the poll and buckled. The greatest forces occur in this area, so the headpiece's quality and pressure distribution are of paramount importance. Make sure you choose the right size when assembling your bridle or curb bit.
