Many riders and horse owners find the grazing season and the warmer months, when outdoor rides and training are scheduled, stressful. Biting insects like mosquitoes, ticks, and annoying flies make riding with their horse and spending time outdoors a real challenge.
Stiefel's popular RP1 Insect Stop fly spray, featuring the active ingredient Saltidin® (icaridin), is an insect repellent for horses and riders. The sophisticated RP1 Insect Stop series includes a pocket-sized 75 ml spray bottle for on-the-go use, a handy 500 ml spray bottle, and a 2500 ml refillable canister.

The active ingredient Saltidin® (icaridin) is virtually odorless to humans and does not bother either humans or horses with an unpleasant odor. Insects, on the other hand, perceive odors sensorially and are deterred by the repellent.
When RP1 is applied to the fur, the volatile properties of the active ingredient create a thin cloud of fragrance that can last for several hours.

Active ingredients:
Sec-butyl 2-(2-hydroxyethyl) piperidine-1-carboxylate (Icaridin (Saltidin®)) 80 g/kg; Eucalyptus citriodora oil, hydrated, cyclized 3 g/kg

Application:
From a distance of approximately 25 cm, spray sparingly but evenly onto the coat as needed. We recommend combining it with the RP1 Gel for the head, chest, and belly. For horses sensitive to noise, the RP1 Gel can generally be used as an alternative. Avoid sensitive areas of the body (eyes, ears, nostrils, and mucous membranes).
