The lambskin color Whiskey is a light brown shade that is subtle, yet harmonious and elegant. The Whiskey shade is less sensitive to dirt than the light yellow lambskin pad. The whiskey-colored lambskin matches all Stübben leather colors such as black, ebony, and tobacco. The gentle brown shade Whiskey is suitable for darker horses such as black, dark brown, brown, or chestnut, but also for lighter coat colors such as dun, palomino, Isabella, piebald, and gray. Please note that dyed lambskin can rub off on lighter horse coats.

Compatibility with Stübben Equi-Soft® Girths

The Stübben Equi-Soft® pad by Mattes made of high-quality Australian lambskin in the color Whiskey is the second component of the Stübben Equi-Soft® girth. The lambskin pad by Mattes is attached to the girth using the Stübben Velcro system, which connects all Equi-Soft® pads with the Equi-Soft® girth as standard. This allows you to flexibly decide which material and color you want to use for your Equi-Soft® girth. The Equi-Soft® girth can only be used with an Equi-Soft® pad. The Stübben Equi-Soft® lambskin pad by Mattes is compatible with all Equi-Soft® girths in the long girth and short girth versions, as well as the Equi-Soft® Western girth. The Equi-Soft® Stud Guard Girth is excluded from this.

Which size do I need for the Equi-Soft® Lambskin Pad by Mattes?

Choose the same length as your Equi-Soft® girth (40–45 cm or 50–150 cm).
Example: If you need the Equi-Soft® girth length 75 cm for your horse, you should choose the Equi-Soft® pad size 50-150 cm.

How do I attach the Stübben Equi-Soft® Pad to the Stübben Equi-Soft® Girth?

• Step 1: Lay girth flat - Lay the girth flat with the Velcro side facing up on a flat surface.
• Step 2: Center position - Align the central Velcro strip of the pad with the girth's Velcro so that all edges are completely covered.
• Step 3: Secure sides - Slightly lift the side parts of the girth and firmly press down the side Velcro areas of the pad. The girth will automatically take on its anatomical shape once the pad is correctly attached.

Attention: To use the Stübben Equi-Soft® Lambskin Pad by Mattes, you need a suitable Stübben Equi-Soft® Girth. This must be purchased separately in order to use the Stübben Equi-Soft® Lambskin Pad.

Care instructions for long-lasting quality

Care instructions: Machine washable at 30 °C (additional rinse cycle recommended), ideally with Mattes MELP detergent. Air dry or tumble dry at low temperature – never with heat or direct sunlight. For frequent use, it is recommended to use several pads alternately to ensure complete drying.
