Stübben Hybrid Fetlock Boots Black – Maximum Leg Protection for Hind Legs
Leg protection for your horse is essential in show jumping, gymnastic jumping, and cavaletti training. The hind legs, specifically the fetlock joint, also need protection from strikes with fetlock boots. But which fetlock boots offer sufficient freedom of movement, protection, and good ventilation?
The black Hybrid fetlock boots from the Stübben Evolution series offer your horse highly functional protection through an innovative design that is adapted to the horse's anatomy, thus ensuring horse-friendly comfort.
Fetlock Protection for Horses: Hard Shell Meets Flexibility
When working and training with poles, the tendons, joints, and sensitive legs of horses must be protected against possible collisions, "striking" of the hind legs, and impacts. The Stübben Hybrid fetlock boots, with their revolutionary hard-shell design, offer reliable protection for the tendons and fetlock joints of the hind legs with maximum freedom of movement, comfort, and constant ventilation.
What is the difference from conventional hard-shell fetlock boots?
The functional cut of the Hybrid fetlock boots encloses the fetlock joint with adapted padding. In this way, your horse's fetlock joint has full freedom of movement in every gait, as well as when taking off before the jump, when bending the horse's legs over the jump, and not least when landing after the jump.
Thanks to this high flexibility, these boots embrace the horse's leg, and the breathable, soft mesh lining pads the boots. Thus, the Hybrid fetlock boots have a "hard" shell with a "soft" innovative core!
Optimal Ventilation Without Chafing
Conventional fetlock boots in show jumping are immobile and rigid, allowing little space and flexibility for the movement of the fetlock joints. This can lead to chafing and unnecessary pressure points that are unpleasant and unnecessary for horses. The well-thought-out fetlock boots from Stübben offer constant ventilation through a ventilation system with vents at the fetlock joint. Conventional boots often have no or insufficient ventilation systems. The Evolution Hybrid fetlock boots stand for hard-shell protection and flexion, without restricting or even disturbing your horse in its natural movements.

Instructions for use:
-
Check inner lining before applying: Ensure the lining is clean, dry, and free of sand or dirt to prevent skin irritation or chafing.
-
Apply in the direction of the coat: Always apply the boots in the direction of hair growth to ensure a smooth and comfortable fit – never against the grain.
- Correct position and fastening: The fastenings should face forward and be on the outside of the leg. Close them securely but not too tightly to ensure comfort and blood circulation.
- Check fit: Make sure the boots sit evenly and correctly on the leg to allow for optimal protection and full freedom of movement.
Care instructions: After use, the fetlock boots can be carefully cleaned of dirt and sand with a very soft brush or sponge. For heavy soiling, the boots can be gently hand-washed or machine-washed at low temperatures in a laundry bag on a gentle cycle, without bleach, without spinning. Air dry. Not suitable for tumble drying.
