The Waldhausen fly nose net with UV protection is suitable for ponies and horses that react particularly to flies around their nostrils with defensive movements. The fly nose net, also called nostril protection, nose mesh, or nose flap, is a form of mechanical fly protection and fends off flies and insects directly at the nostrils. The fine mesh covers the nostrils of your pony or horse. The fine-mesh material can reduce direct sunlight in the nostril area.

Two Flexible Attachment Options for Maximum Comfort

The fly nose net can be attached in two different ways: behind the noseband or in front of the noseband. When attached behind the noseband, the Velcro straps are attached externally over the noseband. In this position and attachment variant, the fly nose net sits a little closer to the horse. Alternatively, the fly nose net can be attached in front of the noseband, so that the Velcro straps run underneath the noseband and the nose protector has a little more distance from the horse's nasal bridge.
The mechanical fly protection can also be used over the nostrils while riding, even during pollen flights and on dusty ground.
